Savari Waterfall, Netravali Sanguem


Savari waterfall is located in Netravali  in Sanguem taluka, east of Goa. Enchanting and beautiful spot in the Netravali sanctuary of Sanguem taluka. When the summer heat becomes unbearable, nature lovers do trek to the Savari waterfall which is really a memorable experience. Savari is a small hamlet in Netravali village of Sanguem, which got its name on account of an local species of tree called Bombax ceiba, locally known as Savari. Savari is the only perennial waterfall in this group, the rest reduce to a trickle after the monsoon wanes. One has to trek 3 kilometres to reach Savari waterfalls situated in Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary.
