Garlic Chilli Prawns, tasty mouth watering recipe by Amy Fernandes. Hope you like it and will enjoy in preparing it.
500 grams large prawns
8 cloves garlic
2 chopped green chilli or half tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp salt or salt to taste
1 tblsp chopped parsley or coriander leaves
1/2 cup or 3/4 cup olive oil
Grind garlic, chilli powder, salt and parsley/ coriander leaves.
Shell and devein the prawns. Place in covered container with 1/4 olive oil and the ground ingredients. Mix well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. When ready to serve, heat remaining oil in a flameproof dish. Drain prawns reserving marinade. Divide prawns and cook for 3-4 minutes or till prawns turn pink. Pour reserved marinade over and cook for another minute.
